The  Birds are Back!

It all started back in April with the Red Winged Blackbirds. After that there was no stopping the birds.  The birds that have come to our  land, since then, are as follows:

Sparrows, finches, flickers, Canadian geese, ducks (many different kinds), sandhill cranes, swallows (barn&tree), larks (same as ducks), blue birds, Baltimore orioles, robins, rose-breasted grosbeak, and many others.

Recently, I asked Mr. Oriole if he had anything to say about coming home. He said, "Leesha, this is a wonderful place for our children to grow up in." Mr.and Mrs.Oriole have two or three children, (we are not sure yet), and they have a great little nest.

So the birds are back, and are very busy; but, not to busy to sing a song.

 The kitten season has begun!

Daffy is very happy to say that she has had 4 kittens already this year.  The kittens are 8 weeks old and are as cute as all the other kittens.

 It's planted !

We've planted our garden!  If you want to know what's in our garden...then read on!  In our garden there are:

Zucchini, pumpkin, cucumber, watermelon, cantaloupe, peas, chives, carrots, lettuce, beets, parsley, onions, and corn.

Now, you are probably thinking what it took to plant this garden.  Well, its not the planting that took the most time.  No, that was the fun part!  It's watering that takes time.  But hopefuly it will be worth it.
