Hi everyone! Sorry for not writng sooner. I have some news. Recently, at our home, we've had a stay cat. She is black with white markings, and her name is Boots, (well, we named her that). Also Daffy had four precious kittens. Their names are as followes: Fluffy, Blinky, Peak-a- boo, and Tiny. They are quite cute. The birds are back again. And this morning we saw a Scarlet Tanager, which is very new, because I have never seen one in my life! I hope he will stick around. Hope you all have a great spring!

I know that I have not written you in a long time, but I have to tell you this. Last night my beutiful kitty, Shadow, was hit by a car and instantly killed. This is what we think happened. Yesterday we (my family) went on a long journey, and before we left, Shadow had been playing nearby our van and since she was my cat I picked her up. As I was petting her Dad walked by saying,"hurry up, we have to get going." So I kissed her good-bye and said,"I love you" and put her down (never knowing that was the last time I would ever hold her). After we came home and were unpacking, Shadow (who had been on the road near our home) heard us and, being the obedient kitty she was, started home. And on her way home she was hit. Today, after church, after lunch, our good friend Mal told my oldest brother that he had found Shadow on the side of the road. She had no collar on so Ben (my oldest brother) went to look for it. We buried Shadow beside Gorgie, who is buried beside Mokie. And I have her collar, which was thrown off her neck in the force of the impact and is broken, dented, and all banged up. I miss her greatly and no cat will ever take her place. Leesha Ann

Every pet loves to be peted...but where? New pet owners like to make their pets happy,and one of the best way is to know where their pets like to be petted/scratched. I have learned that pets (most of the time)love to be scratched right behind their ears.Also(especially dogs)under their collars,and their bellies. This is a little tidbit for new and old pet owners. Hello! Sorry that I have not been writing Lately,all the kittens are gone and now we only have Baby Face,Daffy,and Shadow left. Shadow has been spayed now,so now Daffy will be the only mama cat left. That's all the cat news,and don't forget the birds this winter!
